Hueman CEO & Founder
Dwight Cooper is the CEO and founder of Hueman. He is the only CEO in the country whose companies have been named a Best Workplace by Fortune magazine for 15 years. Dwight founded his first business, PPR Talent Management Group, in 1996. He led his recruitment business to be one the best places to work in America over his 21-year tenure as CEO, developing a nationally recognized company culture and engaged workforce. Thanks to PPR’s massive success, Cooper bifurcated two of PPR’s business lines, sold PPR and founded Hueman in 2016. Today, Hueman’s business lines have 150+ employees across the country. Most recently, Hueman was named a Best Workplace in Consulting & Professional Services by Fortune and is one of Gallup’s “Top 39 Most Engaged Company Cultures Worldwide.”
A graduate of Florida State University’s College of Business, Dwight spent his post-graduate career as an assistant men’s basketball coach at the University of North Florida, making him an inaugural staff member of the Ospreys. He has continued to be involved with UNF over the years in education, currently serving as the Immediate Past Chair on the Dean’s Council for the UNF College of Health and as a board member for the UNF Foundation. In recognition of Dwight’s exemplary service to the University, he was honored with the UNF Alumni Association’s 2017 Honorary Alumni Award. Dwight is extremely active in the Jacksonville community and has chaired, or been on the board of, for multiple non-profits, including the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Operation New Uniform and more. Outside of the office, Dwight enjoys spending time with his wife and three children and cycling.
